The Cure opened their latest tour with a bang last night in New Orleans. Touring in support of their most recent release, 4:13 Dream, and playing their first full (non-festival appearance) North American tour in eight years, the band surprised fans in attendance by performing for first time in 30 years “All I Want” from their seventh studio album Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me.
Another unexpected treat was the debut of two new songs, “Step Into the Light” and “It Can Never Be the Same.”
The Cure will be at PNC Pavilion in Charlotte on June 23 and at Lakewood Amphitheatre in Atlanta on June 24.
