Hamilton Leithauser + Rostam play at Rough Trade in Brookyn in support of latest album

“I Had a dream that you were Mine, I’ve Had that Dream A 1000 Times”

Hamilton Leithauser + Rostam and “The Texans” (on bass and drums) took the stage just after 10 PM in the beautiful industrial event space located in the back of the Rough Trade Record Store (Brooklyn, NY). Definitely one of the more awesome venues I’ve been to in a while … though I shouldn’t be that surprised about the venue choice as Ham always finds great spaces to perform in.

Kicking off the set with “A 1000 Times,” the crowd was immediately engaged in the show. Most of the people in the crowd were hearing these songs for the first time, with the album being released last week. Despite not knowing the words to every song, the crowd was still very engaged, almost memorized by the soulful crooning and body language of Ham + Rostam. You could tell they were all having fun up there and bringing 1000% passion to every song.

Their album “I Had A Dream That You Were Mine” will most definitely be on my top 10 list of 2016. For a limited time if you purchase their album from their website, you get a free signed lithograph.

You can also watch the “A 1000 Times Video” (directed by Josh Goleman and Rostam Batmanglij) at the link below. It’s one of the best music videos I have seen in a really long time and featuring the dads of both Ham and Rostam – Watch the video here and feel free to share it!
